First Year Showcase!

Spring 2012 Progress

Doing a lot of exciting projects this semester. Good things are happening and even better things will come.

First mock-up sculpture

A separate craft, building a table. It is a collection of scrap maple and walnut. Here, I am figuring out the table top arrangement.

I finally have it the way I want it. All chalked up and ready to be buscuited!

Buscuits are in, glue is smeared, and clamps are firm.

Light Bulb Filament Sculpture

Test #1, before a current.

Success! Filament sculpture glows consistently for several minutes.

dead light bulbs + sculpted filament = light bulb sculptures.  Very excited about this. This is just the beginning. Check back for more to come.
